Following the demise of EBR, Niccolo Canepa will still be present on the grid for the fifth round of the 2015 World Superbike Championship at Imola after penning a deal with Grillini Kawasaki for the remainder of the year.

The former MotoGP rider was left in the lurch after Team Hero EBR folded in the wake of the manufacturer's bankruptcy, but has been immediately picked up by Grillini to fill the seat vacated by the defecting Christophe Ponsson.

The deal will see Canepa join Santiago Barragan in the team and will take him to the end of the 2015 season.
