Niccolo Canepa will return to the Althea Racing team for the remainder of the season after being called up to replace the out-of-favour Nico Terol.

With Terol announcing his exit from the team after just seven rounds and disappionting results, Althea has made a swoop for Canepa, who finished second in the EVO class with the team in 2014.

The Italian started the 2015 season with Erik Buell Racing manufacturer before it folded, switching to the Grillini Kawasaki outfit for the most recent two rounds, but he will now revive his relationship at Althea for this third team of the year.
