Alex Lowes will make his Suzuka 8 Hours debut as part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Racing team next month and partners Takuya Tsuda and Josh Waters.

The British rider - who competes for the factory Suzuki squad in World Superbike - says he has a lot to learn ahead of his maiden event at Suzuka but is feeling galvanised by the challenge.

Lowes will compete against the likes of Casey Stoner and WSBK rival Michael van der Mark, who are racing for Honda, while MotoGP Tech 3 team-mates Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith are part of the Yamaha squad.
