Jonathan Rea says he wishes he could get more chances to race with his Kawasaki Racing Team in this year's World Superbike Championship as a measure of his enjoyment competing on the ZX-10R in 2015.

The former Ten Kate Honda rider has been in imperious form on the bike since switching to Kawasaki at the start of this season. In 16 races, Rea has won 11 and finished second in the other five, giving him a massive lead of 133 points with five rounds remaining.

Heading to Laguna Seca for the American round of the season, even though Rea is well placed to wrap up the 2015 title well before the end of the season, he says he is enjoying himself so much, he would rather it continued.

Rea clearly deserves the title that's coming his way. If this year is an indicator, he's going to retire wondering what could have been. I can only hope Honda threw piles of cash at him the last few seasons.

I miss the old Hockenheim circuit,

.......and Monza :-(
