Defending World Superbike Champion Sylvain Guintoli says PATA Honda deserves to be getting stronger results than it currently is as he continues the hunt for his first podium of 2015.

The Frenchman, who clinched the World Superbike title for Aprilia last season, has struggled to mount a front-running challenge since switching to the Honda CBR1000RR for 2015.

Indeed, though sheer consistency of finishing all-but-two races inside the top ten have seen Guintoli hold down sixth in the overall standings, he hasn't stepped foot on the podium as yet. Heading to the ninth round of the season at Laguna Seca, Guintoli says he will keep striving for the results he feels the team are working hard towards.
