Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea have announced their challenge for pole position ahead of Superpole for the tenth round of the 2015 World Superbike Championship in Sepang as they dominated final free practice.

Sykes was the man to lead his Kawasaki team-mate Rea and though neither could set a time quicker than Jordi Torres managed in FP3, they were both half a second up on their nearest rivals.

That challenge was led by Michael van der Mark, the Dutchman taking an encouraging turn of pace into Superpole given he will be forced to compete in SP1 first after failing to finish inside the top ten after FP3.
