Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea contributed to Kawasaki resuming control of World Superbike proceedings as they topped World Superbike FP4 at Jerez.
As riders used the 30 minute session to test their set-ups ahead of Sundays races, Sykes best time was one tenth of a second faster than his team-mate with Chaz Davies third.
Yet Sykes' fastest lap of 1m 42.095s was one of only two times below the 1m 43s marker while Rea was able to dip under eleven times and Davies eight.
There was a notable improvement from Michael van der Mark, who ended the session in fourth after an impressive late string of times.
Alex Lowes completed a whopping 17 laps with the fourth of those good enough to put him fifth in the session while Jordi Torres, fast in bursts, was sixth.
Frustratingly for the Spaniard, he suffered another fall at turn one – his second at that spot this weekend, to bring his total crash count at this round up to three.
Davies' session also came to an early end as his Ducati stopped in the closing moments.
