Max Biaggi's participation at the final round of the World Superbike championship in Qatar has been thrown into jeopardy after suffering an injury in a mountain bike off.

The two-time World Superbike champion confirmed via his Twitter that he was a 'doubt' to be fit to race at Losail after falling off his mountain bike in a training accident on Monday.

The 44-year-old, who is set to make his third wildcard appearance for Aprilia this year, also suffered a shoulder injury in the build up to competing at Sepang but was strong enough to race and claim a rostrum finish in the opener.
