Jordi Torres returned to the top of the timesheets in third free practice for the 2015 World Superbike Championship finale, leading an Aprilia 1-3 at Losail.

Quickest in FP1, Torres was demoted to second by Jonathan Rea in FP2, but struck back in the closing stages of FP3 to turn in a new best lap of the weekend so far of 1min 58.044s.

It was just enough for the Aprilia rider to deny Michael van der Mark the top spot on the PATA Honda, the Dutchman second by just over a tenth, ahead of Leon Haslam on the second of the Aprilia RSV4s.
