Nicky Hayden has made his official debut in Honda World Superbike colours as he joins Michael van der Mark for the first round of 2016 testing at Motorland Aragon.

After more than a decade competing at MotoGP level, the 2006 world champion switches to World Superbikes in 2016 with the Ten Kate Racing-prepared Honda team, where he will race alongside the manufacturer's prot?g? van der Mark.

Having called time on his MotoGP career earlier this month, Hayden has joined the latest WSBK test at Aragon, where he is getting his first chance to sample the CBR1000RR alongside fellow test participants Kawasaki and Yamaha.

I think the headlights are ok - but the livery doesn't quite work for me.

If Nicky competes with M VdM then he's doing well... that kid is FAST.
