The Aruba.it Racing Ducati squad has unveiled its World Superbike 2016 challenger at its team launch at its Italian headquarters.

Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano return to action with the factory-prepared Ducati Panigale R this year as the team looks to dethrone the factory Kawasaki squad of defending champion Jonathan Rea and his team-mate Tom Sykes.

The bike keeps its iconic red, white and black livery with a refreshed design for the upcoming season. Ducati says it has also introduced new suspension and electronics which were thoroughly developed during the winter while tweaks have also been made it its engine.

Davies and Giugliano have recently wrapped up pre-season testing in Europe and now heads to Phillip Island for a final two-day test before the 2016 season opener on the 26-28 February.
