Sylvain Guintoli will take a break from turning the Pata Yamaha R1 into a title contender in World Superbikes by making a one-off guest appearance in the new Radical Challenge Championship at Snetterton.

The 2014 WSBK champion, who lives in the midlands, has tested with the Radical Works Team at Brands Hatch during pre-season earlier this week and has also previously driven in the Radical SR1 Cup at the Bedford Autodrome.

Guintoli will share a Radical Works Team-run SR3 RSX with development driver James Abbott at Snetterton as a guest driver to keep his race senses sharp before resumption of the World Superbike championship on the 1-3 April for round three at Aragon.
