Chaz Davies has ended the final practice session at a chilly Aragon on top after trading quickest times with Tom Sykes throughout the short session.

The pair picked up from where they left off in Friday's practice session, after Davies and Sykes topped a session each, with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati finding a small edge on the Kawasaki rider in bitterly cold temperatures.

With the front two resuming their battle Honda's Michael van der Mark once again slotted in behind with third place, half a tenth quicker than team-mate Nicky Hayden as reigning World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea completed the top five.

In a relatively uneventful session, Xavi Forres found some useful early pace to take sixth ahead of fellow Spaniard Jordi Torres. Davide Giugliano, Sylvain Guintoli and Leon Camier rounded out the top runners to make it six manufacturers inside the top ten.
