for WSBK free practice (3) results from Misano.
Jonathan Rea jumped to the top of the World Superbike time sheets on Saturday morning to lead the short 15-minute FP3 session from championship contender Chaz Davies.
KRT Kawasaki's Rea, who ended the first day of free practice in seventh, was just five hundredths of a second up on Davies by the time the chequered flag was shown, with Tom Sykes' third fastest time a further tenth off the Welshman.
Underlining the strength of the Kawasakis and Ducatis around the tight Misano circuit, home hero Davide Giugliano was fourth after a fairly consistent nine-lap run through the 15 minutes.
Fastest at the close of FP2, Nicky Hayden was the first of the Honda CBR1000RRs in fifth, just a quarter of a second off Rea's time. The American, who was recently confirmed to compete in the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hour race in July, was a place ahead of young team-mate Michael van der Mark.
Jordi Torres (+0.421s) was the best of the BMWs in seventh with Xavi Fores' Barni Ducati Panigale in eighth. Alex Lowes climbed to ninth thanks to his final lap in the session with class rookie Lorenzo Savadori completing the top ten.
