Should Max Biaggi defend title or retire?
Max Biaggi says he hasn't decided whether he will return to the World Superbike Championship in 2013 and defend his title or whether he will hang up his helmet for good.
Fresh from his dramatic 2012 title win, his second in World Superbikes and his sixth at world championship level, Biaggi admits he hasn't come to a final decision regarding 2013, the Italian hinting that he is seriously considering the option of retiring on a high, much like Troy Bayliss did at the end of the 2008 season.
"So, next year is another year but what is important now is to think about what we did to celebrate with the team, the people who make this happen," he said, "I think next week - because I need five or six days to stay home and get back to the family and decide what to do. So, no decision now about 2013.
Set to discuss his plans with Aprilia in the coming week, we at Crash.net
