Hodgson contines with the wins

30 March 2003

Neil Hodgson continued his unbroken winning streak at the start of the 2003 WSBK season with victory in the second race at Phillip Island.

The Brit once more looked unchallenged for much of the race as he took the chequered flag in front of team-mate Ruben Xaus. Xaus however did provide a duelling partner for the Brit for the final laps of the race, but it was Hodgson who crossed the finishing line triumphant.

Italian veteran Pierfrancesco Chili managed to last the distance in race two after having suffered an engine blow in the first race of the day and took his secong ever podium at the track.
