Ten Kate Honda's Karl Muggeridge
had another close race with team-mate Broc Parkes at the Magny Cours World Supersport finale today, but nonetheless he triumphed yet again, taking his seventh race win of the season - a championship record.
Parkes led much of the race, but Muggeridge made a neat move in the closing stages to deprive his fellow Australian, while Sebastien Charpentier completed an all Honda podium.
Lorenzo Lanzi was a fighting fourth for Ducati, ahead of lead Yamaha rider Jurgen van den Goorbergh.
The final rundown of championships positions shows Muggeridge - who will graduate to the premier Superbike class next season, alongside Ten Kate's existing SBK star Chris Vermeulen - on a towering 207 points, from Parkes on 135, van den Goorbergh on 130, Charpentier on 120 and Lanzi with 82.
