Haga battles back as Spies struggles

Fabrizio scored three points for 13th after recovering from a tumble at Adelaide on lap four, the Italian coming down shortly after having just overtaken Shane Byrne for sixth position. Producing an impressive recovery ride to the points, it nonetheless means it is now mathematically impossible for him to win the title at Portimao.

Just behind, Matteo Baiocco was a double points scorer for Guandalini Ducati in 14th, while Broc Parkes picks up a single point for himself and Kawasaki at the end of a difficult weekend.

Wow, Forza Nori, what a legend you are, that performance is the working of a man possesses Haga aint gonna go down without a fight! This one is goin down to the wire, fraid to say ten points is nothing and Spies could still win this, Portimao is his track and Haga does not like the place too much, So if Spies doubles up next round and haga comes second they tie on points, but Spies wins the championship on number of races won, how cruel would that be for Nori to loose like that? Nori is gonna need Fabrizio to make sure Spies does not lead the races at Portimao and Haga needs to finish at least on the podium in both races to be in with a chance. I am bricking it ! the race at Portimao is gonna be so crazy I pray Nori is victorious, after this season long battle He deserves it more than anybody and more so for all the bad luck he has endured in the past that have cost him championships through no fault of his own! What a race holding of Rea and Biaggi and passing Spies on the first lap l
