WSS: Sofuoglu back ahead with Brno win

In the battle for third, Davies held on for his third podium finish on the Triumph, although fourth still marks the best result yet for young Rea.

Although unable to maintain his strong qualifying performance, fifth marks a good result for Katsuaki Fujiwara following his recent surgery, the Japanese finishing ahead of Robbin Harms and Miguel Praia, the Portuguese rider winning out in a battle with David Salom and Matthieu Lagrive to score his career-best Supersport finish in seventh.

Fabien Foret rounded out the top ten after not quite recovering from being clipped by Michele Pirro early on in the race, the Frenchman staying upright while the Italian came down heavily.

What goes around comes around Buckmaster, have a bit of respect for your team and rider and shut up. Today has just lost Eugene his first world championship.

Laverty's misfortune and Buckmaster's karma shoudln't take away from a great battle between Sofuoglu and Lascorz and great rides from Chaz and Rea. Glad to hear that Pirro doesn't seem too badly injured.
