He did 2 or 3 days of riding at silverstone before this weekend. Plus, this is his home race. So a little bit more edge compared to Kenan this weekend is to be expected. You cannot say for sure which ever is the better rider. Looking at the points table one should be able to say Kenan is better atm but Laverty's bike failed in Brno, so that gap could be atributed to bad luck. Or his crash at Portimao, which was Laverty's own mistake.
Anyway, the title isn't over yet. 3 more races to go, and I have no doubt we'll get more of what we saw today between the two.
