I can't see how Kawasaki would consider Vermuelen and Lascorz a sound pairing for next years WSB challenge...surely they'd consider that Sykes has a genuine feel for the bike and if next years ZX is anything like it's runoured to be, he'd be the right choice to just thrash the living daylights out of it..we just don't know how Chris is going to perform after what appears quite drastic reconstructive surgery.. Lascorz is a great rider, no doubt, but who knows in this class and on a consistant basis..it just seems odd to throw together a rider line up based upon obvious uncertainties...I think they'd be bonkers to let Sykes go, so does Birdy...say what you want about that guy but he would NOT allude to spending his own money on a guy unless he felt he'd be a massive benefit to the team..and I mean massive here, if it were anything less he'd just not commit !
