@ Sick, talking of sixes, have you seen the new for production soooooon 'Horex VR6,' a 1200 naked supercharged affair that's similar in engine concept to the VW groups VR6 road cars..essentially an inline engine with narrow V..I'd mention the BMW 1600/6 GT's but unsure if a touring man lol..perhaps you're old school and the CBX is more your thing, if so, the Horex may appeal. Of course, there could be myriad 6's of the American market ilk that I wouldn't have a clue about :).. The new top line Ducati 1198 SP is no 'R', more a up kitted 'S', one wonders if it is an indication as to their future participation in SBK class..however, an old SPS designate, new R, bike is probably not long off and perhaps will give an idea as to how seriously they wish to take the production class in future..agreed the present 1098R, 'F' series for the lucky, is probably not going to challenge for title in its own right.
