Some people need to get over the idea that racing really means that much to any road bike anymore. Suzuki don't put the resources in because (a) they don't have them and (b) it's no big deal as it has become almost completely meaningless to the road bikes. As in the past Suzuki may leave racing and come back....and win championships. But it doesn't really make a lot of difference to their road bike range (which, fanboy marque boosting aside, is easily the equal of anyone elses).
