I think it's great that WSB teams can test as much as they want whenever they want to. More testing is only way that the lesser teams, or those switching machinery, will be able to make the leaps to catch up with the more established teams. Motorcycling racing is all about how the bike feels to the rider. This is something that cannot be simulated on a computer. Nothing helps riders get that feel than rding the bike. Also, may be if the riders could test more they'd stay clear of the motocross and use the race track to maintain their fitness. This would avoid the motocross induced injuries that some of the top riders are carrying. As usual the WSB governing body are far more progressive in the area of testing than the MotoGP.
