Roadrunner, my understanding is that they are the same bike.
Just because you change the rear shock and fork internals (it's WSS remember) doesn't make it a 'new' bike.
If so then my K5 GSXR 1000 would become brand new with an Ohlins fork kit and rear shock!
Like 99% of people on here, I don't know any of this for myself- it's just what I hear/read/ am told.
Eurosport said it's the 2009 bike taken out of the crate, given a dust down, a refresh and a few new parts.
I'm going with them on this one.
