It is not about just switching the throttle to the left hand. As his doctor's statement says he no longer has sufficient range of movement in his wrist to hold on to a bike while hanging off the side of it to corner.
James WAS and to an extent still is a world class rider who made the mistake of switching to MGP when given the chance but he is not the first to do this and wont be the last.
Whatever people think about James, The haters will always hate & say he never had the talent while some dedicated fans will never admit he made any mistakes, It is a shame to see any rider who performs at any level be forced to retire through injury but racing carries big risks and this sometimes happens.
