Brilliant news! The past couple of years have done him no favours. The bike obviously didn't suit him and he was very definitely playing second fiddle to the wee-man. Has shown great potential with his race-craft, just needs to qualify and start better. Also, great credit to him for not using his glandular fever as an excuse - from experience, it is debilitating and can take a long time to recover from, if ever. Best of luck to him and I hope he can show the world the form he showed in BSB.
Who for the second seat? Hopper, Hill, MLav, Sykes, Byrne, would all be good choices.
