Suzuki must be in a very serious financial position to be walking away from Batta, from Crescent, and from WSB and MotoGP. These were the company's major assetts in promoting the sporting image of the brand. The delay in the announcements must have been due to last ditch efforts by team personnel to salvage a continuing presence on the world stage. With Kawasaki out, Suxuki out, and Ducati spending like a man with only a week to live, soon only Honda and Yamaha will be the only serious factory contenders. Then, with no competitors to beat, what will be the point in them staying?
