When you think of some of the most exciting battles in SBK over the decade. Haga features in over 90 % of them! Every champion had to battle Haga.. I really like this dude and wish he still picks up a ride. I think some people may be right about how much (in terms of money) he may or may not be worth. That goes into the realm of business that may never translate to an ideal situation for racing fans! Sure, i am all for it! Put Haga on the grid but who will pay? small teams may not be able to afford it and top teams may believe the future is with someone younger/up and coming especially since Haga never won the title with a top manufacturer. I think he adds to the show of WSBK and actually believe that he would have done well on the Castrol Honda but Aoyama is younger/Japanese/former champ and has the potential as well so it is a hard call. For me it is easy, Put him on any bike and he will do the business!
