I like JR but he is starting to be a "Pedrosa" of SBK. Trust me, I had both these guys as Future Champions when they first came in. Both have the potential to do it and I actually hope they do. JR has had to battle a not so consistent bike but I hope this is his year. On the other hand Pedrosa has had a winning package for years (yes I know that is debatable) while JR, maybe not quite. I agree with Tetley that he has had to override the bike to get the results because the current champ couldn't do it nor Xaus, who I think is a pretty good rider, struggled for worst results than when he was on the BMW not to mention the others.
