It will be necessary to have patience regarding reports on Lascorz's recovery - when nerve damage is involved it's a very slow process. It will tax his own reserves of patience to an extent which makes our own irrelevant. Even if his movement is very limited once he's off the paralysing curare-like drugs used when on a respirator, there's hope it will improve over time. I assume they've decided that there's no point in simply restating what we already know and want to avoid speculation about uncertain outcomes. Slight variations mean that even apparently similar spinal injuries can result in very different outcomes over time so we can only hope that no news for now will mean good news eventually.
