As soon as Tom starts coming forwards at the end of the race rather than gradually fading, he will be unstoppable. There's been a huge improvement since last year but he still seems to have tyre management problems. Perhaps he needs to slot in behind a front runner at the beginning of the race rather than trying to run at the front as much as he can from the start?
Both Biaggi and Checa make a decent start, run at a good pace and preserve their tyres and then push for the front at the end when it counts.
