Max said "This is my year, it will be Tom's next" (or words to that effect). I wonder exactly what Max meant? Did he mean he knew Tom would beat him next year? Or did Max mean that he wouldn't be around next year? Is Max planning on retiring, or is he sowing the seeds of doubt to make Aprilia pay more for his services next year? Has Max realised that Laverty has the edge on him, so he would rather retire than have a team-mate out-ride him? And if Max did retire, who would Aprilia employ now most of the top riders are already contracted for 2013? So many questions. My gut feeling for 2013 is Norge for team leader with a less experienced number 2 rider. BUT, if Honda switch their resources from MotoGP to WSBK, anything could happen. This winter will be very interesting.
