@speedeekiwi if everyone took your attitude then there would be four bikes on the grid and everyone else would be sat at home with their thumbs up their ****s complaining.
He's getting the best gig he can, showcasing himself and (probably) earning a wage. I bet there were a few saying that Tom Sykes was nuts to ride the Kawasaki but it was the best on offer and it came good.
Maybe the Suzuki is not the most competitive bike on the grid right now but he has no pressure and can impress the paddock even if he isn't winning. If he does well then it will help him in his next career move, or perhaps Suzuki will be able to provide winning materials at some time in the future.
