Lin Jarvis in the press is calling for a unified set of rules for all superbike championships so the manufactures can make a universal race kit available at a lower cost. It makes sense to me, go with something like BSB then riders can try other series when the opportunity arises as the bikes would be the same.
The other BSB rule I like is setting the second race grid by using the fastest lap times from the first race, this is only spoilt by riders coming out of the pits on soft tyres for a one lap dash on some occasions.
