Yes, dumb riders will go to MotoGP on 2nd-tier or 3rd-tier equipment. Smart talented riders will realize that making equipment available for sale (production racing) means that the riders can become their own team owners, like NASCAR. When the riders are partial owners, they'll think cost-effectiveness and true production racing are good ideas. Selling race parts and race engines will seem like genius rather than dumbing-down.
