If possible get Colin Edwards. Im pretty sure he would push that v4 engine to the limit. At least it would be a guarantee that he would try to run as fast as he can, as he was never keen to run away from trouble. Plus he is known by his tyre development skills, and that coul be a major help for Pirelli since they are switching to the 17" wheels and there may be some details to fine-tune with the rubber. Other than that, I would say go get a rider to fill in in for an year and then sign Johnny Rea. The wait could be harsh, but would also be very fruitful. Im not a particular fan of JR, but I reckon the kid has loads of talent, and if given a real chance with a decent bike, he would pour that champagne a lot of times. Just hope Aprilia choose someone worthwile. Cheers.
