As depleted as the grid may seem at the moment, it looks pretty competetive, at least between team mates. Laverty and Guintoli should be interesting, none of Biaggi's skulduggery so both should have equal kit - Melandri should be a shoe in for the championship but if last year is anything to judge by Chas Davies could chuck several spanners in the works at BMW - Never write off Rea, if he can stop on the bike for a while he'll be quick and Haslam went well with the last Honda he was on, and Rea has attracted the attention of the good and great at Honda so no lack of funds or kit there - Checa & Badovini, dark horses at the moment but with Checa's experience they will never be far away - Tom Sykes?....obviously good enough to do it without a team mate but has his surprise advantage of last year evaporated now - I'm concerned for Leon Camier, he had some flashes last year but there seems to be little support from Suzuki, methinks his last chance in WSBK.
