Buddy "Left to Dorna WSBK series will be the global club racing" Mick Doohan 1990 "WSB is just a world club race" Thats what it basically started out as, the original format was great. Absolutely Stavros, I would imagine the biggest time gain between the stock and SSP/SBK classes are the tyres becuase don't the stockers have to run on road tyres? SSP is supposed to but if you read the regs (available to all you realise they only have to be marked for road use. Seems ridiculas that SBK's can use GP electornics, suspension and other bits, they are even allowed to use electronic suspension banned in GP. Too many classes taking funds from a small pool, with having to pay their own travel and for tyres (rich teams can afford more) no wonder entries are dismally low in both classes, we have not seen the entry for stockers yet.
