No complaints about Moto3 from a racing perspective although I wish they had more cylinders to lose the horrible drone!
But Moto3 is a GP class, WSB is billed as based on streetbikes so there's no place for GP bikes in that paddock unless they are so unimaginative that they are just going to copy the BSB format minus SS1000 & ss600 then pad the event out with filler class racing.
And with regard to electronic aids - the streetbikes that the racebikes are based on have sophisticated electronics, reactive suspension and ABS in many cases as standard, how is that reconciled if the race bike has to closely resemble the bike they're based on?
Just like now and for eons the bikes ought to be a silhouette of their streetbike brothers with realistic restrictions on modifications, just as happens in saloon car racing in its various global forms.
Want to look at money savings? Consider the paddock, OTT hospitality etc....is it really all necessary or would some of that budget b
