Still ironic how its the electronics that make Honda the Giant in MotoGP, and the Minnow in WSBK.
That fact, if nothing else, clearly defines how massive a role Electronics play in modern bike racing, and how much it influences the outcome.
IMO, this means that the tech needs to be seriously downgraded AND regulated in ALL bike racing. Otherwise we don't really HAVE racing any more.
We know that changes will come. Lets hope, that IF the factories don't have the clout to strong-arm Dorna in WSBK like they do in MotoGP, then Ezpeleta could do something that actually maintains or enhances the competition in WSBK with sensible rule changes that promote great racing, and lower the tech and costs in WSBK. If he can't then all international bike racing will slowly go down a very expensive toilet.
