Who'd have thought it, Simon Buckmaster the voice of reason!
I still see one of the biggest problems with WSB as the failure of the promoters to do just that, promote the series.
For all its faults BSB succeeds very well in that area and crowds are big as a result - there's something very wrong when a BSB round at Silverstone can attract a bigger attendance than a WSB round that has 7 British riders on the grid most of whom are capable of a win/podium. What happened to all those fanatics that followed Foggy, why isn't that level of enthusiasm being tapped into? The racing is always full-on, there's proper accessible characters riding the bikes, some-one is really missing a trick here but I don't trust Dorna to cash in on the potential they'll more likely not listen to the likes of SB and screw it up.
