It did appear that Checa out broke himself into the corner. If there was an issue with brake failure/fade I'm not sure Ducati would come out and make that public.
I still do not believe there is anything wrong with the frameless design AS LONG AS the tires can suit it. Ducati was succesfull as long as BS helped them in GP If the tires can handle the load for the Panigale, Checa and Ducati should be fine. He put the bike on pole, it cant be all that bad.
