Kawasaki have the same problems as Ducati in MotoGP I fear. Unfortunately this is not a prototype class and Sykes has yet to win a race in the dry on those slicks. This is why the single control tire is a joke, especially when its not prototype racing. Kawasaki would have to redo their whole line to change their bikes to work with a tire that only is offered in WSBK?
That wouldnt make much sense unless Kawasaki had some sort of agreement with Pirelli. Kawasaki cannot afford to build their bikes around WSBK Specs, which are subject to change on which ever direction Pirelli decide to go with their tires.
4th to 8th place is as good as a Kawsaki will finish in the dry I am afraid. Aprilia seemed to be the best suited to those tires, at least at PI. I hope they dont blow it out of the water like Checa in 2011 when the 4's couldnt make the tires last at all.
