To be fair to Mark, even if Effenbert have been more than a bit shady in the past, he's more likely to give his reputation a shot in the arm riding that bike than he would being sat on the sidelines twiddling his thumbs.
The 1098R was competitive up to the end of last year, the team was a race winner last season and Mark showed fairly well on a Pedercini Kawasaki in 2011, so it's not a terrible set-up.
In terms of performance, the team has shown it can be up there... just remains to be seen if they can keep their shizzle together off the track..!
