(please excuse the poor spelling.) Leave the pilots a few maps to play with, but get rid of electronically controlled irregular engine adjustments, and ditch the expensive electronics, it adds nothing to the spectacle, only costs and further separates the haves and have-nots.
If the promoters were really serious about the sport they would want to reduce unnecessary risks, and TC is an unnecessary risk, it only hinders teams which cannot afford to get their stuff working right, and not even a standard ECU will help this, these things need to be tuned right for each pilot, just say NO, and let the rider figure it out with their bodies, throttle, clutch, brakes, etc.... that's TC enough.
