Steady on, we're two rounds into the season - waaaaay to early to consider conspiracy theories! Melandri didn't have a great weekend (and he said his shoulder was fine), but 3rd and 5th aren't results to be sniffed at anyway, so he isn't exactly adrift. BMW never handed down team orders to Melandri and Haslam, but Melandri was prepared to race his team-mate for the win, which Haslam probably wasn't until it actually happened. After that he became his own worse enemy as Melandri got better and better. Davies on the other hand... I think he can be just as brutal as Melandri if it comes to it. But we really are talking about hypotheticals here, let's wait until there are two rounds remaining before worrying about mind games and team orders.
