I honestly don't see this as being a problem. Superbikes are meant to be modified production racers, and apart from the frame and the engine block there isn't much standard at all. When a Superstock bike can make 200bhp how much more does the superbike need? Limit the series to only running the same rider aids/electronics as the production bike and then we'll see costs cut. Should be standard frame, engine, sub frame, swing arm and petrol tank. Change wheels, brakes, suspension and mild tuning (to Supersport regs). Electronics as ONLY what is fitted as standard to the homologated road bike.
