I couldnt agree more the problem with the factories istthat they use the wsbk and gp as a testing ground. They all will perform RnD with or without gp and wsbk.
However in terms of motorcycle racing all we need is motorcycles sponsors and event organisers and teams will go racing and the sponsors and money will still be there.
The rules at the moment are anticompetition when it comes to racing. I think we could all agree as motorcycle racing fans in general we'd still be interested at seeing the best riders in the world on superstock bikes with any tyres available to the public.
The way I see it BSB rules are among one of the better frameworks in place at the moment however to make it a true world championship WSBK needs to come to an agreement with the national series and have uniform rules such as ensuring that all the bikes have have the same tyres, ecu, suspension, brakes, and engine performance so that wilds cards who are guns at their home international circuit c
