I wish people would STOP with believing all the hype that a series is poorer without Factory Teams. Ever stopped to think and ask WHY? Think about it. If a promotor got through all the red tape and organised a race or series where ALL the top guys in bikesport were all on Moto2 bikes for a dust-up..... they could sell every ticket and TV right no problem. Fans would LOVE to see a proper competition like that. The proof? Just look at the old Paris Bercy out-of-season kart races with F1 and bike stars, and so on. They are all a sell-out success. Fans want to see top TALENT race hard and fair n square and WHAT they race with or on is less important. Unless of course - you're a Factory Mfr Team.
